We are committed to continually improving your experience with us.  As a result, we are deploying software updates for additional scanner functionality. This new software update will be automatically downloaded and installed on your scanner(s) over the coming few weeks.

Please remember to not turn off your scanner while the update is in process.

To improve your clinical assessment and better support you with patient communication, we are releasing the following features:

Screenshots may be captured from the iTero Element scanner and from MyiTero.com to create materials for patient communication, case records, reimbursement claims, practice promotion on social media or presentations.

To access the Snapshot tool click on the camera icon in the top right corner. Captured images may optionally be annotated. This functionality is available on the view tool, TimeLapse, Invisalign^® Outcome Simulator, and in the NIRI review tool. All captured images can be downloaded from MyiTero.com.

Using the scan report is an easy way for practices to provide patients with take-home information about their consultation or treatment plan. Users can generate a report using images captured with the Snapshot tool, with optional annotations and patient notes.

To improve connectivity between your scanner and your Invisalign Doctor Site (IDS) portal for submitting Invisalign Smile Simulations and working with Progress Assessment, you will be prompted upon the software update to enter your IDS credential via your scanner. Those credentials will be saved for one year and will enable easier pairing of case information.
